I am a distinguished beauty content creator and operations professional, who has not only cultivated a devoted online community but has also become a trusted influencer among beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and personal development enthusiasts, while leveraging my expertise in project management and organizational operations to deliver impactful and strategic collaborations.
I began my primary education at Airport International School in Kumasi, followed by my secondary education at OLA Girls' Senior High School in Ahafo Kenyasi, where I studied Business. For my first degree, I pursued Mathematics Education at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.
Subsequently, I earned a certification in Project Management from Certified Ghana and completed foundational studies in French at Alliance Française. I further advanced my education by earning a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon.
With a robust background in project management, operations, and educational technology, I bring over nine (9) years of expertise in driving impactful initiatives across various sectors.
As an Operations Officer at Results for Development, I oversee financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and seamless program execution. My role includes efficiency & process management, procurement, team coordination and stakeholder engagement, complemented by my ability to create high-quality presentations and reports that enhance organizational communication and development.
Previously, as an Education Technology Project Officer at Edify Ghana, I led innovative literacy initiatives like the Early Grade Reading Project in partnership with Worldreader Ghana. I facilitated large-scale trainings for over 1,000 educators and students, coordinated impactful workshops, and introduced literacy-focused programs that significantly improved learning outcomes in schools across Ghana.
Earlier in my career, I collaborated with World Vision Ghana as a Field Enumerator and Data Entry Personnel, contributing to data collection and analysis for key projects in education, health, and disaster management.
My dedication to fostering innovation and operational excellence has enabled me to create meaningful change in education and community development while supporting sustainable growth and capacity-building initiatives.
This blend of knowledge and digital skillsets allow me to bring professional insights into my content creation world.
On Friday, September 6 2024, I had the privilege of leading the event that marked the conclusion of the five-year USAID Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator (HSSA) Project. This initiative was a collaboration between the Government of Ghana, USAID, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the event was held at the Alisa Hotel.
In 2014, my journey as a content creator started in the most unexpected way. While randomly watching YouTube videos, I stumbled upon a young girl confidently doing her own sew-in hairstyle. I was fascinated—I’d never seen anything like it before! Inspired, I decided to try it myself. The result? Let’s just say it was far from perfect! But I was proud of the moment and boldly kept my “unique” style for two weeks.
At that time, finances were tight, and learning to do my own hair felt like a survival skill. With every attempt, I got better, and soon, friends began asking me to style their hair too. I charged a small fee—or sometimes, did it for free. While I had the skills, I didn’t know how to start a YouTube channel or create content, so I put that dream on hold until I completed school.
Fast forward to 2019, I discovered a love for DIY projects—creating fascinators, bridal fans, makeup looks, and more. Friends kept asking how I made them, and the idea of starting a YouTube channel resurfaced. I began posting every DIY I made, and my friends encouraged me to share shorter versions on Instagram and TikTok. By September 2020, I expanded into these platforms, repurposing content for a wider audience.
Interestingly, I had never shared a hair or makeup video before, but once I started, people loved it. This inspired me to shift my focus entirely to beauty content, diving into hair, makeup, nails, skincare, fashion, and lifestyle. Posting daily became my habit, and it still is today.
As my audience grew, brands started reaching out. Over time, I’ve developed my business acumen and have now collaborated with over 35 brands. In 2024, I consciously built a stronger sense of community by naming my audience “Julites.” This name, chosen by them through a vote, has created a deeper connection. Giving back to my community is important to me, and I do so through annual giveaways, gifting beauty products, wigs, and more.
Looking back, I’m grateful to God for how far He’s brought me. What started as a fascination with a random YouTube video has become a thriving career and a wonderful way to connect with people worldwide.
